It blends ecotherapy—using nature as a therapeutic space—with spiritual practices such as prayer, Scripture reflection, and discernment. It invites clients to encounter God in the beauty and stillness of the natural world.

Yes, at CBW Counseling, Spiritually integrated ecotherapy is rooted in a Christian worldview that sees nature as God’s creation—declared good and designed to reflect His glory. Scripture often speaks of encountering God in the wilderness or learning from creation (Psalm 19, Romans 1:20), and we draw from these themes throughout our work.

Virtual ecotherapy can be surprisingly powerful. I may be sitting near plants, that you can see, and appreciate. Sessions may include, meditations with Scripture, nature-based spiritual exercises, and outdoor assignments to complete between sessions. Clients are encouraged to sit near a window, on a porch, or in a backyard during the session to help connect with God's creation in their own space.

Psychotherapy, also known as counseling, or talk therapy, is a professional and confidential process that helps individuals address emotional, relational, behavioral, or psychological challenges. Through guided conversations with a trained therapist, clients gain insight, learn coping strategies, and work toward healing and personal growth.
Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy, also takes into account what you believe and how you live out those beliefs.
Eco- refers to nature, involved in session in some way. From a nature walk to sitting in a garden, to having a plant near the therapist or you.
Spirituality and nature are incorporated into your therapy experience to the degree that you prefer.

Each session is unique. Many times prayer is included in session, or reflection on scripture and spiritual beliefs, and how they impact your life.

Therapy Sessions are $225/ hr. CBW Counseling does offer a sliding scale for those who qualify.

This is something that can be specifically discussed in an initial free 30 minute consultation, however if you are experiencing symptoms that affect your life on a regular basis, most likely you would benefit from therapy.

The conversation in the session will be focused on you and your needs. I will ask questions and teach skills when I believe it would benefit you. You may regularly have homework or skills that you are asked to practice outside of session.

The therapist, client relationship falls under HIPPA Privacy laws. This means that everything we discuss in therapy is confidential, unless you are a threat to yourself or others. I am a mandated reporter of ongoing child or elder abuse.

Each persons needs are unique and what you need will be determined by you and your therapist, however most people benefit greatly from one year of consistent therapy.
